Petrobras acquires stake and becomes operator of offshore block in S03o Tomeé and Predncipe

Petrobras has signed an agreement to acquire a 75% stake from Oranto and assume operatorship of Block 3 in the offshore area of S03o Tomeé and Predncipe. The consortium will now consist of Petrobras (operator), Oranto (15%), and the National Petroleum Agency of S03o Tomeé and Predncipe (10%). This move marks Petrobras's return to the African continent since 2024, aligning with its long-term strategy to diversify its portfolio and replenish oil and gas reserves through exploration of new frontiers.
