Gulf Cooperation Council Condemns Drone Attack on Saudi Pipeline

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has issued a strong condemnation of the recent drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia's East-West Pipeline, which originated from Iraq. GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi described the attack as a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of international law, posing an unacceptable threat to the security and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.

Albudaiwi urged the Iraqi government to intensify efforts and take decisive measures to prevent its territory from being used as a launchpad for such attacks. He reaffirmed the GCC's complete and steadfast solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing full support for all measures the Kingdom takes to protect its security, stability, and facilities.

This condemnation highlights the regional concern over escalating threats to critical infrastructure and the importance of collective security measures among Gulf nations to address such challenges.
