Myanmar Supreme Court Introduces AI in Judicial Reforms

On July 17, 2026, the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar announced the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the judicial system as part of a broader initiative to enhance judicial efficiency and integrity. The court emphasized the necessity for the judiciary to adjudicate cases fairly and promptly, ensuring that offenders are appropriately penalized and that innocent individuals are not wrongfully convicted.
