Three civilians arrested in West Kordofan, transferred to Dagris Prison

The Committee for Justice (CFJ) has documented the arrest of three civilians from West Kordofan State by elements affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Intelligence on June 22, 2026. The detainees, including Engineer Abdel Nasser Ali Omar, Director of the Belila Oil Field, were accused of cooperating with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and affiliating with the dissolved National Congress Party. They were transferred to Dagris Prison in Nyala, South Darfur State, without information regarding their legal status or access to communication with their families or lawyers. CFJ has expressed concern over the pattern of arbitrary arrests and the conditions of detainees held in Dagris Prison, calling for the disclosure of the detainees' fate and legal status, and for ensuring their legal and humanitarian rights.
